about

I love Justin Wrights cello playing.
When I played all these songs on the album for him, he instantly knew exactly what to do and the parts were already there. We hardly ever rehearsed. It was just there, waiting to be revealed. "Ain't no need to hide, ain't no need to sheath : you get what you see." = beauty.
Thank you Justin. <3

lyrics

I’ll break like the summer wind
that rushes though the leaves

And you’ll hear me coming
Like land on skin
Like tapestry unrolling

And I’ll call you
like the summer wind

Why don’t you keep your mystery?

Ain’t no need to hide
Ain’t no need to sheath
You get what you see

about

Ohara Montréal, Québec

Ohara’s music has the beauty of a paradox: it’s both slow and upbeat, both vulnerable and resilient, both gentle and assertive – her vocals float out into the room with a tender clarity. Alone or accompanied by friends, Ohara Hale reveals the more tender and thoughtful aspects of her body of life-art-work. It’s a poem, a song, a leaf, a cloud. It is something you can hold, something you can have. ... more
